2025 Trend Alert
Recently, I had a colour analysis done, revealing that I can suit both Spring and Autumn palettes. I believe my color preferences shift with my personality and age. As a demure mother, maintaining a classy and sophisticated appearance has become more important to me.
This year, I've embraced an original approach to my lifestyle. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I now see myself as a holistic designer, no longer sweating the small stuff. As a qualified Interior Designer and Holistic Designer for Mental Health, I've channeled my experiences into my work. I may have just dropped a clue.
What's on Trend for 2025?
This year, soft Autumn tones are making a big splash in interior design. Stores are showcasing more relaxed and subdued color palettes, with the occasional pop of bright red (especially nail polish). I personally adore tonal muted palettes, making this my year. Finding stores that cater to various body shapes, sizes, and colour preferences is rare, but 2025 is delivering. Chanel will re-emerge with her classic blazers and black and white motif, fascinating isn't it, the same colours that represent Bipolar.
My favorite tone this year is Rosewood. Witchery has stunning dresses in this hue, I have purchased the Waisted Shirt Dress and the Fine Bind Tank. I would love to have the Textured Maxi Dress in size 12, but I will have to see what Santa delivers. Seed Heritage offers beautiful linen wide-legged pants in soft camel tones. It has an amazing variety of tones for all skin types.
The Twist Front Crop Top is my favourite, it caters for a large bust, which can be challenging to find. I'm also saving up for a pair of nude Valentino studs. It’s great to have goals!
Bedroom Revamp
In my bedroom, I'm making some changes and going back to wallpaper. My walls tend to get dints, so I'll be exploring the latest Inspire Resene Wallpaper Collection Aquila DGILA1021 / ILA502 both catch my eye, there is also a crocodile-textured leather in olive green which is a win. If you're looking for something simpler, linen or grass cloth wallpaper offers a luxurious, simplistic touch. There are many options suitable for holistic design which will be emerging more in the coming years as we lead to simpler spaces. This year, my favorite palette includes a variety of earthy tones, perfect for a calming environment.
